James and Nicola Robinson took over Stonehenge Ales in 2022 and came to me for guidance on their website. At the time, their WordPress site was unmanaged, outdated, and difficult to maintain, which led them to consider alternatives like Squarespace or Wix.
After reviewing their requirements, I recommended a fresh WordPress build. This gave them the flexibility they needed, kept ongoing costs low, and avoided the risks of vendor lock-in.
I built a new site using Bricks, ACSS, ACF, and WooCommerce, resulting in a lightweight, easy-to-manage online store.
Using various optimisation techniques and best practices, I improved their PageSpeed Insights scores from 54 (desktop) and 27 (mobile) to 98 and 97 respectively.
